Legal Guidance for Rewilders
Understanding and navigating the law is a challenge faced by all rewilding projects. Legal requirements can be complex, difficult to interpret, and are rarely written with rewilding in mind.
To address this challenge, we’ve partnered with Rewilding Britain and Rewilding Europe to develop practical guidance and tools to help rewilding practitioners navigate legal requirements and regulatory processes with confidence.
The guidance currently covers England & Wales, Scotland, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Romania and Germany, with topics ranging from legal regimes applicable to species reintroductions to protecting rewilding land into the future.
